Am I Eligible? allows people with disability (including those with psychosocial disability), their families and carers to carry out an initial self-assessment
of their likely eligibility for the trial of Western Australia’s model of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Known as WA NDIS Please note Am I Eligible? is a guide only and does not provide a formal assessment of your eligibility.
WA NDIS is available in:
- the Lower South West
- the Cities of Cockburn and Kwinana
- the City of Armadale and the Shires of Serpentine – Jarrahdale and Murray from 1 October 2016
If you live within these areas and you are likely to be eligible for disability supports and services, you will be directed to relevant contacts.
If you live outside the trial areas, you will be given contact details within Western Australia.
You can also find out whether you are likely to meet the eligibility requirements of the Commonwealth Government's
National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) NDIS trial which is available in:
- the Perth hills
- the Shires of Chittering, Northam, York and Toodyay, the Town of Bassendean and the City of Bayswater from 1 January 2017
